the process of choosing a mate

Why do guys always seem to gravitate to girls who can't take care of themselves? Wouldn't it make more sense to find a girl that can compliment your own abilities? For instance, if you found a wife that could not only do housework but also cut grass and do some other minor plumbing jobs, etc., wouldn't it make more sense to think that this is a worthy wife, compared to someone who has a fit if she breaks a nail?

Praise the LORD JESUS CHRIST and peace be unto you my sister.

Yes, a man as well as a woman desires to feel appreciated. Many women todays seem to flaunt this "i'm independent" attitude as if it is attractive.

To me it really isn't. I can understand that a woman don't want a man to think that she wants him for his money and that's good. But she can become so "successful" that she began to raise her standards for a man as well. If he don't equal or exceed where she is then she has no desire for him. I can understand that in a way. At the same time if our successes costs us real love and fulfillment in a relationship, then that's our choosing.

Personally, I like being the supporter of my woman. If GOD sends a woman to me who earns much more, then she must have the attitude that she makes much less. Your role as a woman doesn't change with your income level. You are still to submit to your husband.

Verse to remember:

A woman who is of a meek and quiet spirit is in the sight of GOD of great price. I Pet 3:4

Be transformed by the WORD of GOD and not conformed to the ways of society. Rom 12:1-2 - Praise the LORD. Amen.
