I'm very new to this site, but believe that a woman should not be presumptuous and "wait" until a man TELLS her there is an interest. Would you agree or ??? Post Reply
1jon310 View Profile History	Winks and Favorites Posted : 7 Feb, 2018 09:02 PM OK, my personal point of view is that I will not answer winks as I am only interested in people who know how to communicate with words. As far as the favorites go.... I have favorite people because I liked what was written in their profile and not because I intended to contact or initiate a relationship with them. There have been people who have likewise favorited me and either not contacted me or not replied to my messages. There are no hard and fast rules or even guidelines as to what this all is supposed to mean. I choose to not take the silly stuff seriously, only the relationships. If a person wants to place a certain meaning to a wink or favoriting someone then perhaps put that on your profile so that the other person can be on an equal playing field. View Profile History	Winks and Favorites Posted : 18 Feb, 2018 10:53 AM this platform bucks the usual social norms that our forefathers knew and cherished, it's a different paradigm, is it better ? hmm not sure, are the rules the same ? only in some respects, does it allow more freedom ? hmm still again not sure, is it real ? hmm not sure ? so whats left ???? just people trying to make their way through life, it's a bit like a modern pen pal service so if you look at it as a place for disparate connection then you'll be in the right place, the norms that society imposes don't work so well here, keyboard warriors abound looking for quarry, poets abhor the lack of sonority and the chattering classes wonder why the conversation lacks detail, the reality is this when you go online it's not the same as a coffee shop or a church gathering, you are all alone but in a seething crowd of me too's, the only way to make a connection is to say HI ! we men can't read the subtle hints that women send as the internet is not so communicative as a wisp of hair hiding a hidden smile, how are men supposed to understand an unsent wink or a favoured stare ? so wink and favourite as much as you dare...
