It has been said and taught often that the thing that men need most is to be respected. The difficulty arises here because as each man and woman are unique we show and receive respect and also Love differently. I would suggest that you place more emphasis on being yourself and growing in Christ likeness. If you reflect Jesus in who you are and what you do, you will attract people who are attracted to Jesus and the people who are still living in rebellion to Jesus will not desire a righteous relationship with you. I agree. the Lord created man and woman equally but with different roles to fulfill. it's best to follow the standards found in Scripture. may the Lord continue to guide us in everything that we say or do. :) blessings!
