Admin	Am I missing something? Posted : 2 Mar, 2016 05:53 PM Why guys send a message saying "I am so interested in getting to know you better" and when I reply, they act like "who are ya?" "why are ya sending me a message?" Or after few long messages, puff! They disappear without saying any word, but they keep watching my profile many times. Is it a kind of game? Post Reply

I found that there is a little of paranoia, nice and sweet people are marked as scammers, and there is still friendly people in this world, like me Most guys are not real about what they wrote on their profiles, specially talking about God. When I start talking about my relationship with Jesus, they disappear, or they keep going for awhile... A life without Jesus is empty. Post Reply

Posted : 10 Mar, 2016 08:23 AM I too have lost potential dates while writing to them about my faith, explaining my walk with Christ with the intensity that is appropriate for the central fact of my life. When that happens I shrug. No doubt I seem like some sort of fanatical freak to some women, because going to church on Sunday is a high priority for me and so is being involved in this or that project or ministry. What I figure is that a woman who is not on my wavelength in such matters is going to be a lousy companion anyway, because she will not understand the way I make life decisions and will not see the same things as the matters of highest importance. So don't worry about it when you start talking about your faith and your guy evaporates. It happens and it is in God's mercy that it does. Post Reply

My first thought was that he doesn't know what to say, likely disagrees with you, but doesn't want to throw it in your face. The anonymity afforded by being on a website makes it easy to simply walk away without having to say difficult or potentially hurtful things. He keeps checking out your profile? Might be considering if he should go through with it? Maybe hoping you've changed your stance on the topic and noted it in said profile? ... or yeah, any number of possibilities I suppose. Just seems a likely scenario for what you're reporting. Post Reply
