I had a friend her name is Tiffany and she told her husband I had hurt myself he dont want anything to do with me and

I am scared to call her because I am afraid her husband will

get angry with me. Friends are going to be there for you if

you need help and I feel like I dont have her as a friend be

cause she told her husband something that she did not need

to know and I am hurting because friends should help not to

abandone me

Michelle,

You certainly need some friends who will bear some of your burden with you. We all do, but if self-harm has been in your past the need is a little more obvious.

Tiffany's husband may be ignorant of the very real issues involved with depression and related things. He may be overprotective of his wife. He may know things from her past ... that though she'd like to share strength with you she might not have it to share. We all have our weaknesses and frailties ... and often very few people know what our most serious ones are.

So whether Tiffany's husband is rightfully protecting her from something you don't understand ... or wrongfully reacting to something he doesn't understand ... or maybe some of both ... reach out to someone a little stronger from whom you can draw strength. Perhaps ... a lady a few years older who's already weathered a few more storms.

Its like she wants me to call her and when I do she does not call me back at all. I wish she was a true friend.

Often times our senses are accurate and may be communicating what we least need to hear. Since you're kinda feeling hesitant about making the call, rather don't make it and wait till you see your friend and talk to her inperson.

A peaceful Christmas to you dear!

Sweetheart,

It grieves my spirit knowing that you not enjoying your Christmas day, a day that is celebrated globally by every Christian for it is a day that brought the salvation of our souls, just cause you too worried about someone else who doesn't seem to be interested in you right now. It's unfortunate that friends are entitled to change their minds about us. Even those that we are blood related with, do reject us at times.

Since your friend reflects that she wants nothing to do with you... You have to respect and accept that. Dealing with rejection of those we love and need is part of our daily experiences. The bigger challenge is learning to accept and carry on with your life with or without that person, as for being rejected... tomorrow will be someone else again treating you like that. Learn to accept dear
