this made me hungry for "food" :eat:

The Bible is pretty clear on what "food" is (and what God said in the Scriptures is truth)

It is not what goes into the mouth that makes a person unclean, but what comes out of the mouth

Clean foods according to God?

Check Noah's Ark. The clean animals for sacrificial and food came in 7s. The rest came in 2s.

Not what goes into a man's mouth, but comes out of it? This scripture speaks of the unscriptural washing of the hands ceremony of the Talmud and Mishna as stated as your "tradition" made up by the Pharisees and teachers of the law. So he is speaking of eating with dirty hands, not what they were eating. Matthew 15:19, 20.

Best to read the whole chapter and put it in context, not just grab one scripture out of it and draw conclusions on it.
