You do not have to spend hours and hours worrying about how you look (I am not saying that girls should stop caring about how they look). Its kind of like your favorite book, sure the cover page might be nice to look at. Some books have a nice cover but the inside of the book is not interesting at all, however some books might not have the best looking cover but the inside contains helpful information. So here is the thing, you guys can spend most of your time trying to make the cover page look pretty...just remember that some people think that a good book includes a nice cover page and also contains valuable information on the inside! To help you guys figure out how to make your book more interesting on the inside...read the bible (that's right a good way to make your book more interesting is to for you to try to treat people the way that JESUS did!) The Holy Spirit changes us to be conformed to his image.The only way to be like him is to study his heart and follow his instructions,His holy Word the Bible. And to be sensitive to his spirit. Ive come to find that everything is a "heart " issue. God looks at our heart so then we should also do the same. And the greatest of these is love... Post Reply

Posted : 2 Aug, 2014 12:36 AM everything that glitters aint gold! not braggin but i've pal'd around with some of the most beautiful woman in the world and what i've found is simply this. woman are woman. they like honesty, maturity, Godly leadership & they love to laugh. ((only)) God can truly transform someone but it does take effort and sometimes it hurts a lil'. we only got one shot @ this precious life that has been given to us. make the most of it by giving it your best effort to make it into heaven because hell? you do not want to go there, it will be for eternity. Posted : 11 Aug, 2014 11:31 AM Travis the reason I addressed it is because I want all the ones who read these threads to be crystal clear that we dont" try very hard" to get into heaven. That is WORKS. I make things clear because I want others to understand. Im a servant of Christ so my focus is helping people understand kingdom things. Im thrilled you didnt take it any other way but should we be so self absorbed that we dont think of the big picture? Im concerned about those thousands who read these threads who arent yet saved or have little understanding. Thank you for your comment. May the grace of God abide in you Post Reply

Jesus did teach us to "strive to enter in" (Luke 13:24) and "try really hard" is a reasonable paraphrase of "strive". Post Reply
