If a lady, after has sent you a few messages here asking questions regarding the Bible and christian faith, continue sending another message with other similar questions, how it sounds to you? You dont talk to her except when reply to the message. I would like to know how a man could understand this action. Thank you Post Reply
View Profile History	Keep message a guy Posted : 21 Jul, 2014 02:11 PM I can only speak for myself, but I suspect that many guys aren't natural conversationists, and with a stranger, especially one you might be trying to create a good impression on, it's even more difficult until you find common ground you're both passionate about. Clearly a common ground for people on this website is Jesus and His amazing love and compassion, so that's something you'd expect to be able to talk about, but unfortunately it's not a guaranteed passion for every member here, so some conversations around it can be hard work to keep going. Or it could just be that the other person isn't interested in talking to you, but is replying out of courtesy rather than desire. Post Reply

If they perk up and seem more engaged then maybe Jesus just isn't that big a deal for them (not all here are Christians, and others are 'Christians' because they've been brought up as such rather than experiencing God's love for themselves). That could be a problem depending on what Jesus means to you personally, though not as much as it is for them! Or it could be that even with a different subject they don't really become more enthusiastic, in which case it may be they just don't enjoy talking to you. Neither answer is good so maybe it's just a sign that you're talking to the wrong person... Post Reply
