Perhaps you say yes too easily and get the wrong men? Just guessing.

I used to be really scared of dating similar to the reasons. I hated being let down and left hanging all the time. Then I found things to go do that make me happy so that when I did get let down, it wasn't as devastating as it was before because I could just go do what made me happy and not worry about it.

So I say find things to do that make you happy and feel good and just go do that when you get let down.

If you can make yourself happy, then it doesn't matter, and, what's more, you'll be far more likely to find the right guy for you.

Well, if you say yes and they change their minds, then you shouldn't say yes. Perhaps you could say yes only with your actions. Have you tried that?

I have tried and it don't help the only reason I say I love you to my friends is so I don't think they don't want to be my friend.

I don't think it's a good idea to say "I love you" to friends. It may be okay once or twice, but if you overuse this phrase, then it loses its meaning and people will not know when you are serious and when you are not. There was a girl at my church who said "I love you" to everyone, and I thought something was wrong with her. I am not sure what she was trying to accomplish with this, but everybody was trying to get away from her and leave her alone. If she was trying to distance herself from others, then it worked! :P

Michelle, this world is full of men and women who will honour you with their lips, but their hearts will always be far from you. The tongue of those who practice deceit hate their unwitting victims, and the glad recipients of their flattering words will be brought to ruin.

Your friends who demand you to profess your love through the medium of speech are blinded fools. If I had such friend, I'd ask them how they had failed to notice the small repeated things that I did for them day in and day out, you know, the little things that those who are not worthy of me would take for granted? then I'd bring a swift end to that interpersonal bond.

Your identity should be with Christ, and not with those who live to deceive and be deceived. Their rejection is as meaningless as their opinions are worthless.

God bless.

No one knows what I am going through I found someone to talk too but I just don't see how I am special enough

and he thinks I am special. But on the other hand I am scared to date only because men don't tell the truth I know he don't lie but I am scared.
