Guys' picturesPosted : 4 May, 2014 07:25 PMI was just wondering why guys don't smile in their pictures. I know, for me, a smile is a great attraction. I usually brush over pics where the guy's not smiling. I mean, if you can't smile in the picture to introduce yourself here, do you smile at all? (Rhetorical.) Also, and this is just my opinion, I'd rather see the picture of you without a shirt once we know else other better. Not right away. (But maybe some women like that right off the bat. Only speaking for me.) |

Guys' picturesPosted : 5 May, 2014 11:53 AMI don't consider myself great photographic material (a great face for radio, possibly) so I'm far more likely to smile when I'm behind the lens than in front of it. Not likely to see photos of me topless either - not until harpoons are outlawed! |

Guys' picturesPosted : 7 May, 2014 08:32 AMWell the only picture I have of myself is in uniform where I wasn't supposed to smile lol. I think it's the fact that most guys want to be taken seriously ya know? |

Guys' picturesPosted : 7 May, 2014 09:44 AMSmiling before taking a picture isn't a prerequisite as far as I'm concerned. I don't smile at inanimate pieces of technology; which aptly describes the lens I must peer at to include self-shot visuals as part of my online dating strategy. I would like to think that my eyes compensate for any lack of facial expression. |

Guys' picturesPosted : 14 May, 2014 10:21 PMI myself haven't had much to smile about in recent years, however the joy of the Lord does bring occasional laughter. I don't photograph well and I don't find that an occasion to smile about. I could try to smile but it makes me feel insincere if I try. If I have had an occasion to smile while being photographed, I wasn't alone in the picture. |
