Who moves first?

So gentlemen, I've been under the impression that the man is traditionally suppose to make the first move but I want to hear what you guys think? I mean do you guys like it when a woman to sends a quick hello or wink or something? Or would you rather be the one who starts the conversation?

To me it doesn't matter who starts the conversation or what they say as long as I'm attracted to them. Making the first move doesn't make anyone more or less attractive in my book. If anything, I respect them more because they put themselves out there, took a chance to get what they want. Respect doesn't equate to attraction, but it's still respect.

In short, I don't care who makes the first move.

When I was actively looking, I didnt really care if she sent me a message or a wink first. Its almost impossible to look at every profile on here, so it is good if she makes first contact.

It worked when society was structured in such a way as to encourage it, now it's pretty much every man/woman for him/her-self. Mostly men only have a problem with a woman making the first move if they have masculinity issues. When the woman moves too aggressively however most men get justifiably nervous, that's instinct telling them that this is a dangerous predator... this might be mostly because of too many bad movies though.

Basically a woman can move first... just don't do the "crazy-eyes" routine involving the 5 already named children you have pre-planned...
