I am older now and have a much better understanding or the difference between being confident and being prideful. I accept compliments with grace and humility but I also know that I usually deserve them. I'm occasionally a performer and love being on stage. People often compliment me and I know they are sincere and it makes me feel good when they recognize all the hard work I put into what I do for them and to know my songs touched them. Post Reply
