How do you get a guy to talk to you on the phone and not text you all day. I have tried to stop to say I think texting is impersonal and talking on the phone is more meaningful.





Any thoughts or ideas

It might be more impersonal but it's very much cheaper.



The one other reason is some people (like me :/ )have difficulty having conversation over the phone. Lot's of needlessly awkward silences... seriously I'm terrible at it.

It could be he can't talk at the time and texting is a way to 'quietly' communicate. I can text sometimes when I'm in a meeting but couldn't talk on the phone.

Maybe ask him why he is texting versus talking. And be thankful he is communicating even if it isn't your first choice for it.

Might be busy and can't stay without communicating so he decides to keep texting.

Let him know how you feel.But still if he has no problem with it,allow him to text and call when he can.

Be accommodating.

talking on the phone is lame,

and add texting is lame also...
