I get quite often in e-mail that men dont know how to Ping-Pong. I get an e-mail... so I reply and ask a questionYou ask questions I answer and back and forth its supposed to go but, there are some men I ask questions they answer. Dead space Ill ask another question (second mail) they answer. No question for me dead space I never write them again. I cant figure out do men not know the art of e-mail is the same as a conversation (Ping-Pong) thats verbal or do I just get e-mail from stupid men like I think?

So, you are only getting emails from the stupid men, eh?

No ping pongers? Maybe you should explain the art of ping ponging in your profile.

I have so many wise cracks right now.... but I dont want to shame youlol. In public and all I know you have to keep up appearances on here and all!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:ROFL::ROFL:

But really, a man with intelligence wouldnt just know that? If not, I can school him but before I do it was a real question do men not know what they are doing or just blowing us off in a nice way. That is the real question because I just think they are stupid but maybe they are not..

Okay, seriously, to answer your question... are you ready? Only the stupid guys are stupid. The rest probably are not stupid. And remember, "stupid is as stupid does"

Two options, either he's simply not interested or he simply has no clue what to say. The second usually happens to me when the woman's profile has nothing of substance in it to ask about. A lot have the bare profile with "ask me what you want" types of pronouncements... For me personally it gets exhausting to ask all sorts of stupid little questions every time I start talking to someone, give me something to work with

Perhaps it's the traditional sort of thinking that as long as the woman is pretty enough the man will fall all over himself to grab and keep her attention even if it means making an utter fool of himself. The problem with that is the only real draw a woman in such a relationship has is sex, after a few months "old cow" syndrome sets in and if she has nothing of actual substance to offer the man gets bored to tears and leaves. This is the ultimate logical conclusion to the scenario.

I'm weird so I skip to the end a lot of the time and if at the beginning it seems that there is a great chance of failure I avoid even trying.

There are many women who do not do this well either. I ask more questions then I receive answers for. There are questions that to my "male' mind sound rehtoricle. So I do not answer. Rambo919 makes some good points. Also as men are usually more interested in facts that are usable and they get bored more easily with the "How was your day?" type of questions. So "m" how was your day? :)

Mccubed, I get similar emails..or the statements are I want to know everything about you...so I ask what would you like to know...usually after I've given some more background to try to jump start a conversation. And, like, Rambo pointed out, there usually isn't much in their profile to ask about.

Conversation seems to be a challenge for most men and women! But I keep trying...you never know the right person might strike up that ping pong conversation.

now that mccubed gave it a name. I shall ask a ?

I ping-ponged awhile with a very nice Gentleman "I stress gentleman" We, however, had VERY little in common. Also, the conversation laged, got off the subject of why I wrote in the first place, which was to share creative writing, and I was frankly bored.

I don't have my own computer, so I'm not on much. It's not nice, but I just got busy and stoped writing.

How should I have handled it?
