Intention is not to judge

"I'd rather work on being hidden deep in Jesus' blood in a sense that i'll totally be OFF limits,

If and when a girl wants to submit in my leadership with family,

She'll first have to persue Christ inorder to get through me"

When I should have asked this from the ladies Colomn, (which I know the answers to expect)

I'm kinda interested on the guys side of the story.

Are there guys believing & living up to the opening paragraph?

Please dear one if you are there, share with me (us) your reasons even if its only in one sentence, as to why would you wanna be hidden & reserved so she struggles first to get through you.

Likewise if your answer is 'No'

The intention is surely not to judge, but rather to get a mans' pespective of this.

Thank you!!

I'm not really sure I understand the question, but I do agree that the most attractive thing for me right now, my only "requirement" in a relationship, is for a woman to truly portray Christ in her heart and life, to have His light shining through her. I don't even need her to "submit" to me if she is submitting to HIM.

I like your reply

"Someone shining Jesus' light through reflections to a point of submiting to Him not you, instead of qoating Him" which is often the case.

Thank you my brother for your contribution to the question.

Let me explain the question though for you to understand what I meant by asking this.

Was reached out by an old old friend of mine from school, as catching up through our girls talk, she tells me she's working well and has a baby girl (forwarding me the baby's pics)

As congratulating her and 'complaining' (jokingly) of me not being approached by guys. She kinda took it personal I think, cause her tone was now a little firm as she said to me "Use this opportunity and work on being hidden deep in Jesus' blood. Be off limits sissy (saying my real name ofcause) in a way that one must first persue God and live up to He's expectations of a man,

before He can release you to Him." those words went right through my spirit.

As I then wondered if, are there guys these days who are hidden deep in Jesus' blood, that i'll have to get through God first

Before He can entrust me with this precious gift of a partner.

Hense dear I said instead of asking girls (think I know which answers to expect from them on this question) i'd rather ask guys if they too see a need of being off limits.... When multitudes are too available out there for girls to have easy access of.

Hope it gives a little clarity now

Thank you dear!!

Ok, I think I see what you mean. I do think that our first focus should be imitating Christ, and that does limit the kind of girls that I'm attracted to. I could be friends with lots of girls, but unless they were leading a stable christ-centered life, then I was not interested in anything but friendship, and that did cause me to keep myself "off-limits".
