Who makes first move girl or boy?Posted : 11 Jan, 2013 07:06 PMI am new to dating sites and have been doing a search for the type of guy I'm interested in and then send. Him a message ... I recently learned that just like dating in person it is the man who makes the first move but the woman can if she wants.... But I don't ask men out in person because it never seems to work out when I do that. What is the Norm on who initiates contact? |

Who makes first move girl or boy?Posted : 12 Jan, 2013 04:56 AMA woman neither wants a passive man or a overly agressive man. She wants an engaging man. It is a womans fear, lack of faith and self esteem to just be there and wait. Our lives are filled with waiting and most often we miss the blessing of waiting because our heart despises waiting often times. |

Who makes first move girl or boy?Posted : 12 Jan, 2013 11:00 AMI would not look at cdff as purely a dating site, look at it as a christian fellowship site. If you approach social networking in such a mannor you are free to strike up a conversation with whomever you like. Through conversations you will find if you are evenly yoked in the areas needed for such concepts as friends, bible study groups etcetera. |

Who makes first move girl or boy?Posted : 13 Jan, 2013 03:49 PMI agree with the above post - join in the forums, etc. and engage with people - you never know where it will lead. I've read profiles of people I'd never normally have considered based on what they've posted or replied to, and should I want to take things a little further with someone, I've got somewhere to start from in those awkward first steps. |

Who makes first move girl or boy?Posted : 19 Jan, 2013 07:52 PMi have a slight issue with the whole guys have to make all the first moves. if we make all the first moves, it makes it a player type atmosphere... i absolutely hate that way of thinking about it. if we were in person, or going to the same church, then ok. but, online? certainly a difference all together. there are far too many people. look at it this way: how does god get us to open our eyes if he does not say something (in some manner)? how then do you expect the guys on here to see you if you don't make yourself known? in going to the same church there's the added benefit that we see you walking around, and maybe go to the same services, etc... but, with online interactions? this isn't the case. |

Who makes first move girl or boy?Posted : 21 Jan, 2013 04:51 PMI can't speak for older conservative men, but I like it when a woman takes the first step. It lets me know she is interested. It also lets me know that she has a level of confidence (or might) enough to interact with random people. Though I contact women if I want to also. Imo, it should go both ways. |

Who makes first move girl or boy?Posted : 10 Feb, 2013 04:04 AMVery good question....I have also wondered about this since I have sent out messages and winks with no results. Is it me being too bold or what? I really don't know what the norm is now, but it was the guy did the calling and asking, but I am almost 50 and I am actually shy and have stepped out of my comfort zone in this. |
