For me the story shows a supernatural God given love. Can you love a woman no matter what? Covenant love? (Not talking about accepting cheating as this is biblical grounds for divorce) Post Reply

Posted : 9 Nov, 2012 09:21 PM gomer was all kinds of cheating on hosea, and He just kept on keeping on.... then again,Hosea was a friend of God, and not really concerned with what anyone thought were grounds for divorce,He was just straight up faithful to God... View Profile History	Do you see Hosea in yourself? Posted : 27 Nov, 2012 12:01 PM I think peacenic hit the nail on the head. Hosea was being faithful and obedient to God. God asked Hosea to keep her as an example of how God will Keep His people. God gave Hosea what he needed to do what he did. None of us want to do it but I do know this. Even though I loved her no mater how she treated me she still chose to go. I did let her go when all I could do had been done. I continue to be faithful to God and not my spouse. ( which I don't have at this time) Post Reply

But in case of this, Hosea was to serve a prophetic reason with Gomer. Aside that, Hosea will do what any other natural man will do - Put her away. Post Reply
