lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: �Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He �should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.
3And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do.
5And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.
6�I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You.
8For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.
9�I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me,( for they are Yours. 10And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine,) and I am glorified in them. 11Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep� through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be
( one) as We are.
12While I was with them �in the world, I kept them in �Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves.
14I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
17Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
20�I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who �will believe in Me through their word; 21that they all may be
( one),( as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You;)( that they also may be one in Us,) that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be( one just as We are one:) (23I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one,) and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
24�Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
25O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it,( that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.�)
1I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
3endeavoring to keep the (unity) of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4There is
(one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all,) who is above all, and through all,
( and in �you all.)
7But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ�s gift. 8Therefore He says:
�When He ascended on high,
He led captivity captive,
And gave gifts to men.��
9(Now this, �He ascended��what does it mean but that He also �first descended into the lower parts of the earth? 10He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)
11And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,
(13till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;)
14that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head�Christ�
(16from whom the whole body, joined and knit together)
by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.
15Do you not know that your bodies are (members of Christ?) Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! 16Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For �the two,� He says, �shall become one flesh.�� (17But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.)
10Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be( no divisions among you), but that you( be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.)
10�Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,� says the Lord. 11�Many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.
all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the Law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, everyone who had knowledge and understanding�29these( joined) with their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse and an (oath) to walk in God�s Law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the Lord our Lord, and His ordinances and His statutes:
Unity is not some made up notion by me as you can read for your selves.
As you read in Jesus own words His heart is for oneness.
What are our mind of? division or unity?
I choose to wait to post these scriptures in hope that others might be compelled to seek for their selves and be enlightened through the Spirit and begin walking in unity.
