It can be easy to forget to be thankful, as we are blessed and all good things come from our father. I hope you find a young man interested in homesteading. Posted : 26 Oct, 2012 10:31 AM MsMarvel, it makes me think a little of that too. :) I feel like so many people don't even realize where their food comes from anymore.. it's time to get back to the land. Not to mention I think country living is such a nice way to raise children. Homeschool... work together, play together, and just enjoy God's green earth. And yes, location is important. Most people can't make ends meet solely through the homestead.. that's what online businesses are helpful with. Though there's also honey bees for honey and beeswax, goats for milk and cheese that you can sell for a little extra here and there. Or if you are skilled at carpentry, there's a lot of work to be had in that area. Post Reply
