Do you guys wish they had these dating sites years and years ago, so you would have made a wiser choice in your life??

Honestly, I'm starting to wonder if the wisest choice I could've made would've been to have just forgotten about getting the internet...because I'm not sure that I've found what I'm looking for on here...and that's the reason I got the internet in the first place...to find my wife. I just went on facebook the other day to delete my facebook permanently. I only got on there to try to see if I'd have someone local become interested in me...but it never happened...and I finally got tired of feeling like people were all up in my personal business. I don't know what to think anymore. I might just get rid of the internet altogether. The grass wasn't greener on the other side of the fence...and what I mean by that is simply that I'm still a single young man, 24 years of age, never married, never slept with anyone, and still without a wife in sight...or so it seems...even though God promised! I might just leave. If I stay, it will only be until the 16th of this month. That day is a very special day to me...with a very significant meaning. I'd like to think that God would pull off a miracle by the 16th...but after the way things have been going, I just don't know if that's going to happen. I need anyone who's reading this to please pray that my wife, whoever she may be, will break the silence before I leave this site permanently after the 16th of this month. I have just about given up on having a wife...so please pray for her and I. :(

I tend to think we made bad choices because we are fallen people. Using a dating website will not in any way prevent that.

Reminds me a little of a man my family knew who was so in love with a woman, so wanting her to marry him that he entered the sanctuary of the church we went to at the time. He went in the morning while no one was there, and prayed, literally over every seat in the sanctuary, knowing that she would sit in one of the seats that day. It was a rather large sanctuary too.

Patience is just as important as zealousness, the Lord works everything out for good. Once we surrender to his will and not ours we find happiness there.

Hey, Focus. I just wanted to throw some encouragement your way after the disappointment you expressed and let you know I'll be saying a prayer for you. You seem pretty levelheaded so whatever you decide to do or wherever you feel led, I think good will come from it, especially if you remember to honor God. Keep your head up and smile

If dating sites existed back in the day, perhaps my mom would have chosen someone else, and I therefore wouldn't exist. Soo hmm... a tough conundrum.

I wouldn't have changed a thing.I was young and dumb with or without the internet. But God has allways been smart and in control.Though my one and only marriage turned into a shambles I still had the opertunity to Love someone and left with 4 wonderfilled kids.Nope, wouldn't change a thing!
