View Profile History	success Posted : 11 Sep, 2012 04:29 PM I see success in long term. As in it would be successful to have some Christian activity where I could do it every day for every day of my life. Kind of like being a missionary or a community service worker. I find it to be very hard to do such a thing. I can do something one day or maybe once every 6 months but every day would be my idea of success. And I do not mean working a 40 hour week job, or just saying prayers. As such I do not see myself as a successful Christian. James Post Reply

If I find sucess in loving those around me and they know my love to be real then I am sucessful. I have one goal in life and that is know the love of God and relate Gods love to those around me in a practicle way that is meaningful. When I was 9 I was introduced to God and this love He has for me. I lived in a home devoid of love. Hearing someone loved me sparked a fire inside of me to learn about this God. I used to look around me in the world trying to figure out what was good even after learning about God. It wasnt until I was in my late 20's that i realised everyone was just as i was. Even the most beautiful and sucessful people. They we all empty. This world is empty and it is only the Love of God that fills, that is meaningful. Today I have a relationship with my Lady where i dont try expressing my love to her but Gods love as it flows through me. I am a vessle and vessles are empty alone. What are we filling our vessles with that we might pour out on others? Be filled with the Spirit and we will not fullfill the lusts of the flesh. M Post Reply
