Getting to know peoplePosted : 10 Aug, 2012 04:05 PMI agree. In-depth conversation are always better. Maybe a few specific questions thrown in. Recounting stories from your, and the other persons, past also helps. It allows you to hear things that helped form that person and gives the other person the same perspective of you. Of course, God must be the focus your interactions. |

Getting to know peoplePosted : 13 Aug, 2012 06:40 PMI don't know if there is such a thing as "best way". I think whatever you're comfortable with and/or whatever your preference might be is what is best. |

Getting to know peoplePosted : 14 Aug, 2012 08:34 PMWell...I've found out that if you can beat somebody soundly at a board game...and they don't cuss (?). |

Getting to know peoplePosted : 11 Sep, 2012 10:05 PMI prefer a light hearted conversation just like in real life, spiced with some comedy. I don't like tension or stress in any conversation, so I may write some funny things. I try to do that only when appropriate. The younger generation seems to enjoy it. Most people who are my age are not prepared to handle it. |
