i am realizing i must tone down a little as You are speaking on a family/family level and i am thinking on a Family/Body of Christ level.
My heart is breaking with all the rising up.
the foot is chasing a career, while the hand slaps the oppressed, the heart boasts i have a nice house while the teeth live in a cave, the ear hears raise the standard! the eye now forced to look down, the tougue lashes out at all who reject social normalacy, while the knee offers a place for the weary to sit,the shoulder being a place for the sad to cry and the arm supports the weak.
the man at the pulpit prays for the oppressors, not that they might repent and Our lands be healed, but that they might be more empowered.
the man at the podium talks of what men say the bible say's, not what the bible says.
the teachers teach gain is of God.
the one from God taught to lose is to gain...
now maybe You understand why i freak out at the mention of uprising...
in humbling oneself we do not rise up,we get down, and rely on HE who IS and ALWAYS will BE to lift us up....
To be honest some times I find it difficult to understand your point of view or should i say what you are trying to communicate......Sorry for that brother.
My heart is for the Body of Christ and it healing. Where does this begin brother?
It begins with families more importantly husband and wives.
The enemy is slowly taking from the Body its power by breaking down the marriage vow of oneness.
The enemy is creating division on every level and until the family learns unity once again the enemy will continue to smear the name of Christ.
We are called to love onanother are we not brother. James writes that the world will know we are Christs followers by the love we have for one another, right?
So where is the love in the body brother?
Please help me. If we are failing on our homes and I am guilty of this as well how can we love oneanother in the body? How can we love the world around us?
Love has become pevereted and the innocence of genuine love has been lost.
It begins with you and me and we here to bring back what has been lost. We stand on the front line together and we have to say no more to the enemy we are not giving any more ground.
I have repented many time of my actions in marriage of selfish acts and imature reactions. As God reveals to me more to repent of I look foward to becoming a greater , stronger man of God.
Humble, sensitive but strong and powerful.............
The sign of a king in charge is one who's sword has visibly rusted, hanging on the wall. For such a king does not need to even lift his sword to keep control.
Similarly, the man who does not need to assert control is the one who is truly in control.
The signs of leadership are humility and servitude, not egotism, authoritarianism and anger. The man who orders others around all the time is the one who is not leading at all.
Instead of allowing insecurity of our masculinity to consume our decision making, let's remember what biblical leadership is: it means getting on the ground and scrubbing other's feet. That is what true leadership looks like. It is not the American idea of an executive ordering his underlings around. Unfortunately it is this very secular idea that has infiltrated most conservative christian men, replacing the biblical idea of leadership.
The first shall be last, and the last shall be first. Those who are in charge in this life will not be in the next. The meek shall inherit the earth. Food for thought.
