Obviously not a guy lol but I can try to get the ball rolling for you. I think both sexes are attracted initially to the aesthetic but it depends on the character of both persons.

There may be some people who think a man or woman is attractive and may not have such a great character but if they are stuck on the physical alone they may overlook their character flaws which says something about their own character as well... but somehow I don't think there is much longevity there.

Then there are those who may be attracted to a man or woman and when in getting to know them they realize they are not nice people their character doesn't hold much water and they go elsewhere.

Me personally, a guy can be the most handsome man in the universe and if he's arrogant, he becomes ugly (unattractive) in my eyes.

According to some of my male friends, Both the Face and Character are important. They say that the Face( Appearance, beauty, figure...) gets you the girl/lady BUT the Character is what keeps her!

Shamah, that is sweet and true I think too:) Attraction does get our attention but there has to be more, there has to be a spiritual character connection to serve together for Jesus:)

Well, I'll give a straight answer to how I size and measure a lady.

First and foremost if I message her and she does not reply back it's pretty much a lost cause in my book.

Beauty measures to nothing along with personality if a lady does not know how to interact and have the basic social ability to communicate and know what she wants.

What is more impressive to me then other things is when a lady goes after what she wants. Sure looks are great, Personality is great, Your love for God is great but the lack of drive and ability to go after meaning to stimulate.

Of course if she is like that, the next thing falls into place being she must have a personality and look as if she takes care of her temple. Or she must be wanting to do such things.

I am the type of man that believes in improving every aspect of my life.

Men your age are attracted first and formost to your beauty. Dont believe a young guy who says other wise.

Someone my age its a equal attraction looks and character.

Why is this? Blame it on labedo or blame it on the reality that beauty fades but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder physically, emotionally, intelligently and spiritually.

As a child, I was taught not to view people by their physcial attributes. Frequently, I heard the old saying "Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly is to the bone". The ugly they were referring to was a spiritual ugliness, an ugly character.

Ive tried to live this my entire life. Every time I met a girl/woman, I remembered my grandmother who was a truly beautiful person. To most of the world, she would not have won any beauty contests, but she was one of the most beautiful women on earth inside. She was very smart, but very innocent in worldly ways. She saw only good inside others, even those who treated her in a mean and vile manner. It was this inner beauty that made her beautiful outside to all those who knew her.

Very True statement ! However, on Christian date sites

most men look at photo first and the heart second after they communicate. Chemistry is important and don't think it

isnt just because you are on a Christian site.

Just for me personally, there needs to be some sort of attractiveness in a girl there, but that aspect is only minor.

But what I look for would be under the 'characteristics' category, which includes is she a strong christ? Does she desire/long for what God has instore for her.

A each partner needs a strong christian because life isn't easy, relationship aren't easy, but it takes a man and women of faih to work through things together.

Why she need to long for what God has instore, is because we need to be longing for what God wants us to do, as well as allowing him to work in us because he is the only one who can complete us.

honestly anasthasya,

seeing Your lil bitty profile photo i flipped when i seen Your long hair:applause:and was devoured by Your smile,:glow:

but these things are temporary,You could cut Your hair short ): and frown everytime something was not going the way Your timeline desires ):

a persons character can change by circumstance....

and the true heart of a person takes some time to see....
