GraceAndKindness View Profile History	Where Does "Fit" Posted : 8 Jul, 2012 06:52 AM Some of us believe Christian spouses compliment if not share a ministry/service/purpose together. If you see it that way, what (at least right now..lol) talents/gifts do you see/desire your spouse to have. Would they be the same as yours? Would they be those that you feel you haven�t been given? Would there be gifts/talents that compliment those that you been given? Example: There is brother on a daily Christian Talk show, his wife, who has a passion for health and utilizing the natural resources (Chris/Andrea Fabry). My Parents, �retired� Pastor, they give and pray (in agreement) for others every opportunity they can. So If you have a vision, a desire, a dream, how does your wife fit into it? Post Reply

I do not know what the Lord wishes to do in the ministry of marriage with me and my future spouse but honestly I have thought of this a lot but never in the context of like"gifting" and operating under that ministry as a couple. But I have always wanted my husband to be a worshiper leader like I am. Actually that is one of the biggest attractions for me as a woman to have the man I spend the rest of my life with be a worshiper. Worship is indeed special to me and my lifestyle so to have a husband who can rightly lead and move along in the presence of the Lord with me is paramount Post Reply

View Profile History	Where Does "Fit" Posted : 8 Jul, 2012 05:13 PM My gifts are of being a prophet. As a prophet I know things about people. I am also totally open if something needs to be said. With my gift I am a very good listener. But being a prophet is not always well recieved especially when people dont want to be revealed. My daughter growing up would marvel at how I would know things about her and how she couldnt get away with things. I have been told by many with my piercing blue eyes I seem to look right through people. This is true I look into people. I see people and I feel people. I am not really sure what I would want for my bride but that she would walk with me anywhere God leads. Life with a prophet is not a easy one to live. It can be a life of isolation also. Post Reply
View Profile History	Where Does "Fit" Posted : 9 Jul, 2012 01:17 PM Let this Mind, that must be very hard for your daughter lol. It reminds me of the stories or rather accounts told to us about the history of the church where I currently attend. There was a minister there now gone on to glory who had such a prophetic anointing and would be able to discern and speak as the Lord gave utterance. Now it seems in these last days people equate prophecy to psychic ministrations and it's a big show and people flock those with itching ears to just hear what the "prophet would say unto them" as long as it pertained to blessings but if it was a rebuke from the Lord commanding them to come out of sin they would consider it heresy lol It's funny how the church has become watered down. God forgive us all. I wish people understood the prophetic and what it was intended for. What I love about the Lord and about who he joins together as man and wife (and not what man joins which is a totally different topic altogether lol) is that it's never by chance, my gifting and his will work in tandem because God is a God of order. Being in ministry is never easy because you are ministering to the King and he requires holiness something not really talked about in churches today but he teaches and instructs and if we live a life to die to ourselves and our desires we'll be able to properly discern His voice. View Profile History	Where Does "Fit" Posted : 10 Jul, 2012 07:13 AM what GOD has brought together let no man put asunder? if there is a "fit" ? it is a fit of learning.... the first thing we learn is ," WOW!!!! am i really this selfish?" then we learn,no matter what You do,its a waste of time,just accept.....lol..... then we learn, eventually they leave,either by choice,temptation of greener pastures,or death.....
