Sunday school answer: a man of God does well to seek the power of Jesus' life, death and resurrection in everyone about him. As for his search for a wife, the bible seems to demand nothing more than a single saved sister (though similar age, "chemistry", and so on can be VERY helpful). Now that that's out of the way... All men on this side of Jesus' return are sinners, even those who are saved, and our own satisfaction remains a part of our motivation (more so for some than for others). Look even at our profiles - hair/eye colour, "body type", height, it goes on. Some (well meaning!) guys might be after a women who will accept their love indefinitely for the feeling that he gets with loving someone. Another guy might look for a woman who would be happy to forget the next few hours if it means he can be distracted awhile. Broadly, I'd say there are all sorts of things men can look for, and it's a mix-and-match for each man. Post Reply

I am actually trying to research on premarital and marital counselling and some sincere opinions would be much appreciated. Divorce has become as easy as coming in and out of the house! Posted : 2 Jul, 2012 03:53 AM Everyone has his own requirements/ wishes to determine what they like to see in woman so we can�t impose/ relate all these to one man�everyone is special so everyone has his own choice. I distribute it in three headings�. Physically�body, height, skin color, complexion, nationality etc. etc Spiritually�Nice, Loving, Caring, God fearing, Wise, Honest, Sociable Economically�well established, Educated, Rich etc I think these are also relate to woman what they see in a man� As regard to Divorce ..In Christianity there is no concept of Divorce except one condition which is given in testament �it�s Separation God had given one Eve to Adam so one man should have one wife in life hope it will be helpful Post Reply
View Profile History	What do men look for in a woman? Posted : 2 Jul, 2012 05:12 AM To be honest this has changed for me over the years. I started out looking in a superficial way at women and how I might have my needs met. I have progressed in depth as we all should in maturity. My top thing I look for in a woman is our ability to be one together. I am not speaking of the physical but what was lost in the garden in the beginning. Oneness is the ability to be naked and not ashamed in a emotional and spiritual way. Complete openness through honesty and trust. The next is unity in direction. I look for a woman who wants to walk with me through life. That we are headding in the same direction. Who wants to be by my side. Unity in faith. That she understands and relates with the deep things and understandings of God I know and learn. Not many men will not like this but unity in giving power over to eachother. In realtionship we are called to give our lives to oneanother and even though their is a submission women are called to express we men are also called to give our lives for our wives. I have found a good woman appreciates when a man asks her permission to be responsible. She wants time with her man but he needs also to accomplish his responsibilities. I have found that reconising a womans need to connect and asking her permission to be the man she wants and needs is a great honor to a woman. You see the leadership is that a good woman will always say yes to a mans request to be responsible even when she misses him and wants to have time with him. The man in leadership is not leaving or abandoning his woman for his work but he is lovingly helping his woman to agree with where he needs to be. I hope these help you :) Post Reply
