I believe that the United Church of God denomination exists... maybe you're after something deeper. I glanced at the fundamental beliefs section on their site, and I don't think that there is anything there that negates the sinner's salvation. They recognise Man's helplessness to make himself right with God, that Jesus' death is the only way we can be made right with him, that Jesus will return as consummate king, lots of good stuff. I do believe that they take some things a bit too far, or not far enough (as humans, even Christian humans, often do). One being that they uphold that the meats mentioned in Lev. 11 and Deut. 14 as unclean are not to be eaten. I have my reasons for believing that it is a good thing to eat pig, for instance (ref. Mark 7, Acts 10, for a start). What most makes the UCG unattractive to me is the danger inherent in making a statement of belief like this with stances on issues that don't pertain to salvation. I don't mean that we aren't free to, but my stance on whether or not <i>tithing</i> is the way to go (for example) is not key to my unity in Jesus, with his forgiven people. Posted : 6 Jun, 2012 12:34 PM Thanks for the response, however I was wondering if there is any one who shares these beliefs on here, not if this denomination was correct. I do agree with what they say however, and do not believe that it is good to eat unclean things. Jesus never came to change the laws, He came to fulfill scripture. (Matthew 5:17) Also Matthew 23:1-3 tells us from Jesus' own words to follow the laws of Moses. Why would He tell us one thing in one verse, and yet another in another verse?
