Some of the ways are explained below: 1) They are somewhat shy to initiate contact, so by lurking at your profile that many times, they are hoping you will initiate the conversation. ( see stalking or creepy guy who always looks at you on a sly! lol) 2) They could be debating whether you are the right person for them to even bother contacting. So by perusing your profile multiple times, it reaffirms what their initial thoughts where and then they don't bother to do anything else. 3) Simple one - They hit the back button too much. i.e They are on your profile. See someone else. Clicks. Lurks at that profile. Click Back. View counter records a new view. This could happen multiple times. By the time they finish reading your profile they could have amassed a huge view count! By the way, your pottery skills are amazing. I would love to learn pottery. We take another look at your profile becuase we didn't remember who you were. An action of said nature may occur a couple of times since you were dismissed just after reading a few lines in your profile. Most of us realize a face is not worth much if the substanance behind it is lacking or does not match out views and how we view the world in a Christian way. Or you have predators viewing you and sizing you up and ultimately moving on. However I think the site does a pretty fair job at getting rid of bad people... if they are reported. Post Reply
View Profile History	Views Posted : 28 Jun, 2012 06:53 AM I've done it for any number of reasons. Sometimes I'll view a profile and see something I don't like. So I'll leave it but then run across it again sometime in the future, not remember what I didn't like about it, and view it again. Other times I've done the exact opposite; I'll view a profile and decide I want to message the person, but I want to take some time to put some thought into the message, so I might put the page in a bookmark folder to come back to later. Then there have been a couple of times when Firefox just crashed and I had to reload the page... But in all honesty, more often than not I would guess the reason is probably because he likes your looks (hence he is motivated to check out your page) but then when reading your page he finds something he doesn't like, so he chooses not to message you. But then he goes on to look at other profiles, so that by the next time he runs across your photo again, he wants to check out your page again because he thinks you're pretty but can't remember why he didn't message you.
