View Profile History	Exclusivity Posted : 17 Mar, 2012 09:58 AM I think it varies, when its early and the two of you are talking yet still just friends, then you haven't committed yourself to a relationship with that person so it doesn't have to be exclusive...my take on it is that if you don't want to be exclusively with that person then hold off on dating. FocusIsEverything View Profile History	Exclusivity Posted : 24 Mar, 2012 06:13 PM i think that once you realize that you like someone after getting to know them then they should become exclusive automatically because if we date with the intention of marriage then what would we do if a different person came along and you started to get to know them and and liked them just as much as the first person. maybe you would be confused on who to pick etc etc etc. exclusivity after u like the person is my opinion. really liking two women (or in your case two guys) is a bad spot to put yourself in Post Reply
View Profile History	Exclusivity Posted : 25 Mar, 2012 04:27 PM My two cents in the hat. I only date one person at a time. So for me, I am always exclusive and intentional in dating someone. While my intended may not follow those same rules, there must be a talk about it at some point. I would say after going on 10 dates, which I read somewhere is a good general timeline that works out to about 2-3 months depending on how frequently you see the person, seems to be an appropriate time for such a discussion.
