I wasn't brought up as a Christian (though I did get bundled off to Sunday school every week to give my parent's a break) so when I accepted Jesus the difference was like night and day to me (very much scales falling from eyes type thing). I've known others who *were* brought up as Christians and have only ever known of God so have no other experiences. For them the secular lifestyle was far more of a temptation than it was to me because I'd been part of that and knew how hollow it was. |
