If it is the same ones I have heard about, they are a cult. Several times they have proclaimed the rapture is imminent. Do an internet search for The Efraim Genootschap Society.

I wondering if a person say he is an Ephraim and live in USA must it be the tribe of Ephraim he is talking about.
I can�t ask him as he have limit himself and God so much so I can�t send any mail.
( I don�t believe we should limit God if we really want God to choose a partner for us )

Because Manasseh was the oldest and traditional should he be one of the tribes but Jacob had turn it around so Ephraim was before Manasseh in to inherit as the family head and also be on the tribe.
It is interesting this story how Jacob changed the traditional order.

God is talking to a person but she/he can�t walk away from the safety zone or they are frighten about what people should say if they picked another sort of person than expected.
This one of the worse thing I know. When people let their friends and family tell you what is best for you in love and not thinking that love have no limits and can happen between two total different persons.
I had that such love once where we both loved depply each other but he couldn�t stand up for our love because he had 7 brothers and the family was wealthy and I was poor, he was engaged with the girl that had said should be his wife already as kids but he come to love me
I was so angry, bitter at the whole situation when he told me had to marry the other one so I moved away without telling anyone where I moved.
He died some months later in a traffic accident so what was the meaning that he should go sad and do what the tradition and people told him to do ...he could have been happy those few months he lived ....but of course we don�t know the future.
It was 30 years ago so it�s only bother me when the subject is coming up in discussions.
