To give an example, I don't need to worry when people speak ill of me; God knows my heart and will uphold me. Neither will those who do evil escape punishment forever (though I hope they seek forgiveness) - God sees all and knows all. Oh yeah, faith gives me something to look forward to as I age and move ever closer to my last breath. The absolute certainty (more certain than this life even) of where I'm going and who waits to greet me there! I pity the atheists who have nothing more to look forward to than hoping they were right all along... Thinking about it, the future's bright: God's glory kinda bright!!! Post Reply

View Profile History	What do you think about when you think about: FAITH Posted : 29 Jan, 2012 02:53 PM In my opinion faith and trust are intertwined. How can I have faith and not trust? Sounds silly doesn't it. But as the two are merged in my mind to me it is defined as letting go of all preconceived notions I may have had about myself, God, or my situations. It is something I may not always understand but it is something I will do because God knows the plans He has for me. Post Reply
