What I would like to know (and I'm not beiing negative) is why these men put me on their favorites lists, but they won't write to me. I think that's strange. Just curious. Thanks! God Bless You!

'favourites' is a misnomer; 'noted' might be more apt. It's just a way to remember someone's profile - either to message them later or possibly even to avoid! Long and short of it is that it's generally meaningless.

I totally agree with you about the favorites thing. It's basically meaningless. It's too bad it has to be that way.

Sometimes it will also be used if they can't contact the person, whether age or other restrictions, yet can favorite them.

I have that same experience also. There is a man here who put me in his favorites but didn't message me. So in my curiosity I message him and ask. He said that he just put me in his favorite so that he can follow my post because he likes my writings. I don't know if his saying the truth but I decided not to make it a big deal. So I just said okay.

God bless yah all!!!!

I agree with the person above that said it's a way to get a hold of someone who they cannot message due to age restrictions--that's why I favorite a lot of people.

Maybe they are just too shy to message you also?

Then again, to note someone is a thought too, but I don't know why I would put someone in my favorites if I could message them but don't.
