If u're interested in an american guy, what's wrong in finding out little things regarding love & friendship in American culture? how hard is that.... FYI. winking at you means you're beautiful, I like what I see, "can we get it together" "can we connect and see where it leads" ? On the other hand, GET AN AMERICAN DICTIONARY AND OR A THESAURUS, STUDY HARD AND THEN TAKE THE AMERICAN LUV EXAMS... then come back on this site and start all over Post Reply

It clearly has nothing to do with the American culture because it is widely used across the world in different countries as a means of communicating and expressing... Further more if guys were so "interested" why not send a message and a wink... Dont get so defensive; its only a discussion which your clearly incapable of discussing......Give me a break I dont need a thesaurus or a dictionary because the last time i checked love never came with a manual. Posted : 9 Jan, 2012 07:21 AM I can only speak on the usage of a wink on my behalf, but if I regard it as a was to say hi without actually writing it in an email. The qustion why I dont just simply say 'hi' might come up; to which I have an answer. Writing 'hi' or 'what's up?" In an email is usally been addressed in a lot of peoples profiles as something not to do(i.e.: dont just say 'hi' or 'whats up?' When you message me) DESPITE the fact that, that is the way that most people engage in conversation. So us guys are left with a very difficult challenge, either A) come up with an extremely creative, impressive, yet too intense (as to make a woman of our interest still feel comfortable with responding back) greeting OR B) wink.... Please bear in mind, that if most of us were well mastered at utilizing option 'A', well we'd all probably off and married by now, so cut us a little slack eh? =) Post Reply

If she mentions that she doesn't want winks, I make sure to send her one. I don't expect anything from it.
