So I'm interested in knowing if you guys are actually reading women's about me or just viewing their locations, pictures and such???

I read every guys about me if I view their profile and I read searching for things or qualities I like in a man. Hope you guys can shed some light on the situation just to put my mind at ease lol.

Hope you all have a very blessed day in the Lord!

Well, even though I am no longer looking for someone, I still take the time to read what people have said about themselves, it makes it easier to respond to them and get on the same level.

i start reading down the profile and if they :toomuch:

at all, i alcoholic (recovering) and cannot have that influence around...so stop reading as no reason to teaze myself....however if they are the rare individuals that do not :toomuch:i keep reading, then get stopped for messaging them because i am to old,to young, smoke.

:ROFL:the irony:ROFL:

I read everything. If I find someone who matches what I am looking for, and I match what they are looking for, I send them a message.

I honestly do more than just view the pictures and location when I find someone that looks interesting (when I click on my matches the one time every 3 months or so.)

That being said though, if the profile is 3 sentences or less, I tend to close the box after reading. If it's someone spilling their whole guts into a little box, I'll be more inclined to skim for the highlights and gleam a little bit of information but I don't want to necessarily know what someone did when they were 2 years old, ya know? Save that for conversations on the dates and outings heheh.

If it's a paragraph, or four, I'll read it, try to pick out one or two things I find interesting about that person and strike up a conversation.

The result usually being the immediate shot-down, tactical-nuke-on-the-face generic rejection letter-even though my profile says that I'm not exactly looking for a relationship. So now, I wait for a woman to view mine, then I'll go to hers; and write her a thank you with the conversation starters. Seems to work pretty well in my opinion.

I'm not even really looking for anyone, but if i do check out a profile, i often look at things like the "wants kids" section and the denomination section first. If those don't match with what might jive with me, i might simply go on to other profiles. I do read at least some of the about me section if I'm going to message someone, and often all of it (if i'm going to message them), unless they have a really long about me.

Honestly, if guys are contacting you who didn't read your profile, they either A) aren't really Christians and are probably just looking for sex, or B) are foreigners looking for a green card or an easy marriage partner/sex. Imo.

Yeah I read them, but try not to read too much into what they say as the impression I get from what's in their about me is a lot different than what reality is. But yeah I read them anyway because what else do you have to go on?
