View Profile History	Should I change my profile? Posted : 26 Nov, 2011 06:35 PM Two points of thought from an older female perspective. Run a quick spell check and grammar check. The text should have less "I" in it. There is a sentence where you mention the man you seek should want to be a father. Make that more clear. On a first read, it sounded as if you already had a guy in your life. Sometimes less is more. I prefer to put the most important text, with enough information for guys to ask a question. There is a lot of information in your profile and it feels as if there is little more than someone could ask about your life. Post Reply

Posted : 27 Nov, 2011 07:03 AM The first thing you should know about me is that God is #1 in my life and He always will be above anyone and anything else. That being said, it should be reflected in the remainder of your profile, seeing that this is a site that is suppose to be for Christian Dating. If God is the center of your life, then your passion for God should be reflected throughout your profile. This will help greatly distinguish you from the scammers and the opportunists who come here seeking to exploit the righteous. Also you might want to create a name which best fits your righteous character. Goldilocks is a make believe character, you might want to consider this. Last but not least, get rid of the dog kissing photo. They put their mouths in some of the most unsanitary places ( like the rear end of another dog, licking their own private parts, dung piles, etc ) This will definately make men pass over your profile. Like Iheart said, sometimes having a little less info about you leaves more room for a guy to ask questions. Also, some guys feel obligated to read whole profiles (so that they don't miss an important detail), and so having a little less can make their effort less tedious. Also, I would probably get rid of the dog kissing photo as well. While not all guys may have it click in their head where that dogs tongue has been, some might, and it could deter them from wanting to connect with you. Lastly, I would change "I am gifted by God to work with children so that is my passion in life" to "My passion in life is working with children." Some people think they are hot; some people think they are smart; some people might think they are gifted by God in some area, but let others be the judge of that. If you really are gifted in that area, they will see it and say it anyway. And if you aren't gifted in that area, then you didn't make a vain judgement of yourself and speak that out to others. Besides, giftedness is relative anyways. Two people could be gifted in an area, but one of them could be 50 times more gifted than the other. This causes mentioning giftedness to come out more vague, and not as worthwhile as other details. Post Reply
