Pro 25:4 Take away the dross from the silver, and a vessel of the refiner's shall appear.
In this Scripture the dross are the impurities which occur naturally in silver,and gold angwith a host of other metals.
These metals are heated to their melting point,then a ladle or something else is used to scoop off the dross.
This process is repeated until the dross has ben removed.
How does one know when he dross has ben removed,they can see their reflection in the melted metal.

Does the metal put itself into the fire in order to be refined?
Does the metal draw off its own dross?
Does the refined metal look to see its own reflection?
No,there is someone outside of the metal doing this work.
