When love does not take into account the distance...Posted : 25 Sep, 2011 10:06 AMA long distance would really make you hold back even you know your love could be there? Would you be afraid to connect with a different culture and new people? I know how is to live in a different place of the world...it is not so bad, what about you?? |

When love does not take into account the distance...Posted : 1 Oct, 2011 11:49 PMIf you are willing to relocate, then it isn't about distance. But when you're talking about different countries, culture is VERY important to take into account. Even if it works for some, it does NOT work for many. It puts a serious strain on relationships when trying to adjust, and sometimes people never can adjust. There are some people from other cultures I'd be willing to be in a relationship with, and some cultures I would not. It isn't because I have anything against any cultures, it is just because I know it would put too much of a strain on the relationship, and relationships are hard enough as it is! It would be unfair to both me and the guy if I dated someone with cultural differences that I knew I would be unable to ever adapt to. But for some, it does work, but for most, it does not. |
