...place this.

This is a link that will give you an Idea as to just how HUGE our National Debt is.

http://usdebt.kleptocracy.us/

It is Astounding!

At the bottom

"...is the amount of money the U.S. Government

knows it does not have to fully fund the Medicare, Medicare Prescription Drug Program,

Social Security, Military and civil servant pensions.

It is the money the USA knows it will not

have to pay all its bills.

Brothers and Sisters...we cannot go on spending money we do not have! We cannot go on BORROWING any more money.

Oh, I do take it a lot more seriously. This battle over the budget is very frustrating, but I think it clearly shows where everyone is.

Republicans want to try and slow the growth of spending.

Democrats want to spend like drunken sailors

Tea party people want to actually cut government spending.

The truth is, the conservatives are not a majority in the government. Right now there is no way to actually cut spending, it's just not a political reality.

Arch, I didn't mean that we shouldn't cut spending, what I ment is that with the current batch of politicians we aren't going to get any real cuts because they are not willing to do it. It's easy to stand around and potificate about where to cut, it's another thing to get the politicians to actually vote on it.

Economies can be very hard to understand, if it were easy we wouldnt have all of these arguments. Over the last century there have been two major theories of economy, the Keyens theory and they Hayak theory. A very basic summary of the two is that Keyens theory is that the economy is more efficient through centralized government control though taxation and government spending. The Hayak theory is that the economy is too difficult to control efficiently and that the individual should save an plan his own spending.

Here are two videos that have been made in the form of a rap. It still covers some complicated economy theories, but it does make it a little easier to understand.
