We know women are attracted to men in uniform. What about women in uniform, do men find women attractive?

For me women in a male dominated field like police or fiire fighter tend to be a turn off.

Now a cheerleader uniform is another matter.

It depens on what kind of uniform. i am beyond little girl outfits like cheerleaders.

However, when I was in the Ukraine in 2003 the women wear the same military dress outfits that men wear. now that looked neat and spiffy. it is a clean cut outfit that is very conservative- covers everthing up and comes with a medium sized skirt. With knee high dress boots.

the mens outfits have pants-womens skirts only diference

What about a nurse in uniform? It's been my experience that men usually like nurses in uniform.

I come from the era when nurses wore white uniforms with white caps. That's a rarity these days.:nicenurse:

I wear scrubs now. They're pretty and comfortable.

We work hard and help save lives. It's a very demanding, challenging job. Let's hear it for the nurses!

I received plenty of compliments when in my military uniform. I know many happily married couples who met while serving together in the military. I know many military women married to civilian men.

It's not what people wear...it's how they wear it.

As a criminal justice student and (hopefully within the next year!) future law enforcement officer; I think that I am naturally drawn away from women in police uniform. Not because I think they shouldn't be in one (some of my female classmates will make far better police officers than some of my male classmates, trust me!), but because I don't think one house can handle two people in that career field. So it's less about the appearance or symbolism or gender role of the uniform; more about the psychological/emotional climate of a possible marriage of two officers.
