I'm not a fella... but...

I would say that men can lust after women they are not attracted to. I see lust as being entirely sexual (though it does certainly have different meanings -- lusting after money, etc.), whereas attraction to someone is the enjoyment of the "whole package." I think that a man (or a woman) could have lustful thoughts toward someone without really actually truly enjoying the person. An example of this would be something such as a one-night stand, where the two people involved don't even necessarily know each other. I think that true attraction requires that you know the other person -- who they really are, not just the physical aspects of him or her.

First of all, let's define what "lust" is ... if it's defined as a "sexual" attraction of the flesh, then the answer would have to be "yes" ... a man or a woman can definitely "lust" after, "flesh-wise", anyone who is attractive to them sexually ... but ... that is different from being COMPLETELY attracted to a man and woman, the whole person, in all aspects of their heart, mind, body and spirit, which is what we were created to do, initially, like Adam and Eve were and did, and, as reborn, spiritually, men and women of God, we are "recreated" to do again ... with God's help, under the guidance and control of the Holy Spirit!!! :yay::applause:

There's a song titled "It's So Easy To Fall in Love" ... as far as our "flesh" natures go, we also know "it's so easy to be sexually attracted to someone who is sexually attractive" to us, isn't it, whether they are otherwise unattractive to us in our hearts, minds and spirits? So ... our spirit and our flesh are at war with us, and we find ourselves in a battle to overcome our "fleshly" desires, with God's help, and whenever we lose this battle, we know we've only lost a battle not the war, which we can't lose, because "we are more than conquerers in Christ" in the end!!! Yay, Lord!!! Barefoot Hooray!!! for this joyful truth!!! :yay::applause::hearts:

Love, Steve

Theres the obvious sense that men lust after woman sexually - in that sense, I would so no they cannot because it is part of the definition. But if a broader view of lust, such as a lust for power then probably yes, for instance the lady could be an object of a lust for control.
