So earlier this week, I ran out of normal snack foods and broke into a can of almonds. I've never liked them before, but after the first couple handfuls, I found out they make an excellent snack. Ever since then, I've been eating probably 50 or so almonds a day. I'll even eat a number of them as a right-before-bedtime snack.

Wanna know the crazy thing? I normally come out of finals week depressed and with back pain. While I've still got the back pain, I actually feel better than when I went into this week! I know they're great for lowering LDL, but apparently almonds also make you feel really good. If you've got $5, I highly recommend you go buy some.

If you want a real treat, buy some of the cocoa covered almonds (I think they might be Diamond brand). We love them!

Hmmm, I think I could probably handle munching through a bunch of those almond slice cakes! Might make me feel better but only 'til I look in the mirror and see my waistline expanding!

Well, I've done a little digging, and aside from the fact that almonds lower your LDL, there seems to be evidence that all those almonds stimulate higher levels of testosterone production in your body, which is going to make any man feel more awesome!

They also contain protien and fat, which the brain needs.
