Admin	Is this......... Posted : 27 Oct, 2012 04:37 PM A seminary, bible school, or social network.......? It seems to me that some here forget this is a social network and as such we engange in topics that would be encouringing for our social futures. Are we here for bible lessons or scripture exortation? Their is a place for that. But is that our primary focus? What about practical life between men and women? Do we know practically how to live life together as the opposite sex? It is one thing to copy and past scripture from our bible software but do we really know how to live out the principles the bible teachs? Post Reply

If you believe you're allowed to tell LTM that he's wrong using the bible as your evidence, then you should have no issue with me submitting scripture and exhorting you and TBK in the same way. I never said that you or TBK were not allowed to tell LTM that you believe he's wrong. I just believe that it should be done in a little different way. If you think that I am wrong, then please continue, but unless you can show me scripture to support your actions, then I will keep defending what I believe is the truth, just like you are doing. I hope that does not mean that you will come to the point where you feel like you need to leave, I am very disheartened that TBK decided to leave, that basically means I failed in what I was trying to accomplish. :peace::peace: Post Reply

I actually said a couple times that I do think we're supposed to correct people who are teaching false truth. That doesn't change how I believe we should be trying to correct people, and I think the bible is pretty clear. Go ahead and keep correcting him, I just think you're doing it in the wrong spirit, and obviously, it's not working. You may not be trying to do this, but it appears to be more like how the pharisee rebuked. Always sending people to catch Jesus in a contradiction, always telling people to stick to the pharisee's teachings. Using Jesus' own words against him, misinterpreting and/or twisting them into something they could use to tear him down. "Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things? Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body." Jesus didn't even explain himself, he left them to twist his words and continue to attack him. :peace::peace: Post Reply

This is supposed to be a Christian site. Therefore we are the body. You want to claim that only your corrections are godly. You've made up a few things about me and that is fine.
