I need your feedback. Is mt picture inapropriate for this site?

I had just bought a new camera phone and wanted to try it out.....so I snapped a pic off my guest bathroon mirror.
I wasn't even thinking about what I was wearing. I havn't gotten one negative comment from younger men....but, a couple older men have written to me saying that I am showing to much cleavage.
I live in Florida and i guess we wear less clothing here most of the year. The top I had on is'nt one that I would wear to church......but, I wouldn't wear a bathing suit either.....that's for the beach or at home.
So i need some feedback.....do you think that it is wrong for me to wear a top like this at anytime....or just because it is my profile pic? Resectfully, Colleen

AMEN!
Walter and Leon, we are not of this world nor should we conform to it's standards. All we should care about are God's standards for our conduct as written in His word. We read in several places in the Old and New Testament, that we are to come out from among them. So when will we???

I won't be responding to any more of your replies....this will be my last post.
Jelousy is the only reason I can think of that another woman would accuse another of things like.....I think she just wants attention! How can a person make a judgment like that from what My original reason was for starting this thread in the first place. So now I would ask.......how does it feel!
This has gone so far off track it's crazy.
I am not going to get into a scriptual debate or any other with any of you anymore regarding this issue.
I simply responded back to many of your false judgements and personal attacks in self defense.
I say Shame on many of you!!!!!......my showing clevage is nothing compared to the angry attack I have endured from you hipocrates!!
You all have a good time riping me apart some more.....I won't be here to see it. I just wonder how long it will take you all to finally justify yourselves and make each other feel good about stoning a sister in Christ.
It's a good thing that my faith in the Lord is solid......because a weaker Christian.....you might have made stumble by you hard, angry and....yes!.....jealous words!
I now think that the Lord had a much greater purpose for this thread.........May we love one another as you love us.....Amen

I think the greater purpose is to show people where they are at.I admit, when I saw the title of the thread I rushed in headlong. My reason was to see how revealing the picture was.Forgive me for that.Honestly once I saw it I was quite dissappointed.Maybe I was hoping for "more revealing".I have read most of the thread and I have to say I lean towards taking Colleens side here. The picture was'nt that bad and I think the responses "for the most part" were ridiculous. If I were Colleen I wouldn't come back to this forum.

The words indicated in Bold are censored from the CDFF Forum:
Ryan, Colleen came onto this forum and ASKED for our opinions. And then when she did not like what she heard she accuses us of being angry and jealous. Why would we be jealous? As Christian women who believe in sexual abstinence until marriage, why would we want to show our private parts and cause men to lust after us? The strong brothers on this site who are well grounded in the word and mature in their faith do not want a woman who would display herself that way. Ryan, when I first got saved in 05, I too wore the low cut tops and tight jeans. I lifted weights and felt that I had worked hard to have a nice athletic body and had the right to show it off. After I grew spiritually and read the word several times, I began to understand that we are supposed to be obedient to all of God's word. After I began to dress more modestly my brothers in the church shared with me that they had to look away from me because of the way that I had dressed. These men had been addicted to pornography and it had almost destroyed their lives. I know a 19 year old brother who became addicted to porn at 12 years old and self gratifies compulsively he struggled so hard with the guilt and shame that he considered suicide. He has given his life back to the Lord, praise God. But if he were to see a picture like the one that Colleen posted he would sin. Ryan, there are thousands of members on this site, do really think that there are none who have struggled with this issue? We are not to cause our brothers to stumble and sin. Those of us on the posts who take our walks seriously will challenge anyone who tries to lead others astray. Many call themselves Christians because they believe in God. But Christian means little Christ or Christlike. It means to be a doer of the word, not just to talk about it. We can not pick and choose the parts of the Bible that we want to obey! We do not have the right to call ourselves Christians and then live any way we want to. This is an offense to God who sent His Son to die for us. Again, we are not of this world! We are supposed to be set apart, holy, and consecrated unto the Lord. We are the light of the world, the unsaved should see something different about us. Didn't God call Israel His own peculiar people? In closing Ryan, if you do not mind seeing exposed chests or other body parts then maybe you should join a secular dating site. Because we Bible reading, church attending, uncompromising, on fire, Jesus freaks, will not be silent on these issues. We must take a stand for righteousness! May God give us boldness and an uncompromising spirit. In Christ, Lydia

Lydia, I take offence at your suggestion that I join a non christian dating site.I think I was the only one who was honest in what I said.I am a bible reading Jesus Freak who actually if you will look back at my post said forgive me for having the wrong reasons for viewing the thread in the first place.I know I am not the only one, but the only one with guts enough to admit it.Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.Anyone who saw the thread title and chose to enter the thread anyway sinned.Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.God is so holy that any sin against Him is an offence worthy of death.Lets get honest here. Not everyone who read"looked at" this thread had the right thing in mind.Personally I didn't lust over Colleens picture.I don't know if some did or not, but I can't imagine that picture causing someone to lust. The point is we shouldn't have enetered the thread in the first place.Romans 10:13 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. You have to admit to and realize your sinfulness, and call on Jesus from an honest heart to really be saved.Everybody knows the "Christian language"we can talk the talk, but are we really walking the walk? I am a sinner saved by grace.I sin daily in one way or another.I also confess my sins to God.1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:8 says if we say that we have no sin we are decieving ourselves and the truth is not in us.
I urge everyone who has read this thread to examine themselves. In Jesus name.

Ryan,
None of us said that we are without sin, we are not. I simply was making a point to you that if we accept the moral values of the world than why not be on a secular site? Most of us joined a Christian site to avoid the immorality that we see on the secular ones.
Ryan, I am fed up with " Christians" saying we are the same as everybody else just forgiven and that we live in a fallen world. These are nothing more than excuses to continue in sin. God did not call us to be forgiven, He called us to be holy.
We have to hold ourselves to a higher standard, if there is no difference between us and the world than why bother?
Are we really that lazy that we will just conform?

Ryan,
Where in the Bible does it say "Be ye not so bad, for I am not so bad"? It doesn't!! It says, "Be ye holy, for I am holy". We are called by God, and COMMANDED to come out from among them, lest we be punished for their sins. Letting someone sin without telling them that they are doing wrong, carries the same penalty as doing it yourself. Taking up for her behavior, in the face of clear scriptural evidence, is telling someone to continue in sin.
Guess what? She is no longer responsible for that sin, now you are.
If you want to argue this, go to Walter's post above and show us where he is at fault.
When you realize that he is telling the truth, you should repent and let her bear her own sin. 1 John 5:17, For all unrighteousness is sin.

I'm trying hard to figure out WHAT'S THE SIN???... Paul said come out from among those who are called a brother or a sister, who confess and profess Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and are LIVING IN KNOWN SINS! Coming out from among the christian who is sinning, doesn't mean, you've stop your SINS. No where can you find come out from among them for wearing a top that is too revealing is a SIN! That's hypocrisy... based on your own stanbdards and not God's standards and what He calls SIN. I've found that people who judge and condemn others by their own standards are usually the one who are in sin themsleves and are trying to preach scripture and morals based on their own standards, and not those God has laid out...
Paul's rebuke to the church at Corinthian for showing off and misusing their spiritual gifts... not for SINS! Paul also says not to cause a stumbling block for your brother to SIN! And he as well tells us not to judge or condemn one another for by our standards by those God has set, focusing on the minor things or do anthing that will be a stumbling block to a brother, and that also includes leaglistic christain ATTITUDE toward someone who may not be where you are spiritually.
So you who are spiritually restore the person, Colleen did NOT SIN for wearing that top or posting that picture! And your feedback was not addressing what she ask of you in the first place... Paul also says he is convienced that there is nothing in and of its self unclean, but if to YOU who THINK it is, then to you it is... examine yourselves in such case he also instructs us based on your faith.
We ALL will give in account of our own SINS, but wearing that top is not a SIN the last time I read Galatian chapter 5. If she is not where you are spiritualy in her wlak with Christ, don't condemn or judge her because she isn't. Not only have we all sinned, we do sin, we will sin, and some are living in sin as I speak... we all fall short of God's glory, and grace will not continue to abound when there is sin, but wearing that top is not a sin, you have made it a sin according to your own standards and over looking your own imperfections ... Yes, she did accomlish attention and WE ALL helped in the process, no one in excluded, we ALL are posting, so is this too a sin in your view? ...
I can't believe the Church of the self-righteous Laodiceans trying to preach to the church of Sardis... and God has some thing against them both... Selah... (walking away shaking my head)... amazing!
