aurora846 View Profile History	fat girls Posted : 3 Jul, 2010 09:30 PM So, heres where the awkwardness begins for all you boys! *WOOT!* So, i keep wondering if guys are really just generally turned off by girls who are overweight? im not skinny, granted, God made me skinny boned so I should be thin, but because of life instinces I began to eat my feelings and emotions. Now, due to Gods grace and love I am working it out and am working on losing weight. But I still have guys say, "Youre so awesome, if you were thinner, or in great shape I would date you". That really sucks to hear, but whatever that makes them look stupid not me. But seriuosly, are guys so shallow that they wont even look at a bigger girl twice? I mean, im overweight but am pretty good lookin and have a really great personality so why do guys keep over looking me?> Just wondering... Sierra Post Reply

Some people just like eating a lot because they have a large appetite while others eat because they feel unloved or stressed or whatever. Those are common reasons anyway. - To those among us who are overweight or obese, work on consuming the reality that God loves you so much He sent His One and Only Son to die on a cross to save you. Eat it down until you've had your fill and keep coming back for more. Get fat on God's love, in fact get so much of it that you can't eat it all and you need to share it with other people. If all of us could grasp that love in a fuller way and learned to not hold what people think with such high regard we would all see many of our hangups evaporating. And remember this; regardless of whether you are tall or short, fat or thin, clever or challenged, God does not make ugly or worthless people in any shape or form. So that makes you special in the eyes of the One Who's opinion matters. No other opinions matter AT ALL. Post Reply

Although, I am a pretty big girl, and I dont see you as dating one, I wanted to comment. I admire your honesty. There is NOTHING in life worse than people beating around the bush or lying.
