The time of a post is posted in the readers time zone, not the writers.

So what time is it where you are at?

It is exactly 3:14 PM Sunday right here, right now.

What time is it there?

Hi twosparrows,

Wow, that's so cool - top 3 huh? ... and you're right I'm truly blessed to live here.

But we NZers love to share so if you get the chance, come on down ... we'd love to have you and there's always plenty of room ... :)

kazk,

I tried to apply for citizenship in my late 20's, but after talking with the counsulate it seemed almost impossible. They suggested I get either Canadain or Australian citizenship first. Seems like they could use some good quarter horses down there. Isn't it mainly thoroughbred horses and another kind I don't remember?

Wow, twosparrows, I'm sorry to hear that you had trouble coming here. Our immigration laws have evolved somewhat though, and I'd like to think it's not that difficult anymore. And we're a great place to come for a vacation :)

I'm not sure what other horse breed you're thinking of but maybe Arab ... ?

Sorry, I know this is taking the topic completely off the thread, but can I ask how you got to know NZ and what it is that puts us in the top 3 for you? Being so isolated it's always great to hear of someone overseas who has an interest or connection with NZ (or has even heard of us to be honest lol)

I like NZ mainly because of the geography and people, haha, that doesn't narrow it down much does it? I like mountains, beaches, open country, old fashioned values. NZ has all of these. I like that everything closes on Sat night and doesn't open till Monday. The language is English so it would be easier to assimilate. I like that it is "downunder" kinda like off the map, off the beaten trail of the northern hemisphere with all its crime and politics and commercialism and "doings" Seems like a person could live there more like God intended us to live.

My sisters husbands uncle and entire family are missionaries in southern NZ, or were, but I think they are still there.

@ Twosparrows I just LOVE the way you describe New Zealand ... :dancingp:

I live in the northern part of the North Island so probably won't bump into your relations ... wouldn't that have been crazy if they were near me though huh ...

Oh, and it's Jan 21, 6:18pm
