View Profile History	Okay let me have it Posted : 4 Oct, 2010 10:51 AM Hey Tulip, I think I was the first to post & the point I was making was made there and it Is pretty self explanatory. Everything thereafter has been in respoanse to or in addition to posts immediately before them. The reason I'm here (on the forums) is because I happen to enjoy a good rousing debate where all sides are discussed (with quick wit & humor preferably). I also like it when the subject develops, expands into related subtopics that show that the original subject has substance and meat. Most understand that when having a discussion on a forum such as this, you don't take what is said personally. I also understand how I can be misunderstood because I do have a strong personality and my tone is strong in my writing when I feel strongly about things. Wow, did I just use strong 3 times in the same sentence? I even don't mind having the conversation we're having now. To me, it's all about saying your peace, disagreeing or agreeing with what's said, possibly learning something and hearing what others have to say. Post Reply

BG, I keep re-reading the thread, and I still don't get what your objection is to people changing their profiles to better communicate who they are. J-laugh & everybody registered with CDFF can change their profile 7 times a day & I couldn't care less. Pixy actually said it best. I was encouraging her (j-laugh) to be true to herself no matter the result. I already know many of yall disagree, because you all tell people to be unique and to put things in your profile that stand out. I think you should do that if that occurs to you to do, bcause that came from within, thus it is a part of you. How can you 'put on' being unique? Just be you, I told her. Everybody is different & if she plays things closer to the chest, some guy will see that as intriquing & be willing to put in the work to find out about her. I was coming from the fact that one of human's greatest fears is that they will be themselves & then be rejected as unacceptable. And so people try to find the formula that makes them appealing to greatest number. In j-laugh's case, a greater number of emails. This is my opinion. If yall will recall I was gone for a couple pages & when I returned I spoke to those who mentioned me while I was gone. Then I started speaking to roeroe. I did speak to Silver even though he hasn't been on because we conversed early on Again, I won't stop saying my opinion, but those who wish me to not engage them in a personal way, can email me and I will respect your wishes.
