Admin	Please clear up any misconceptions... Posted : 12 Dec, 2010 11:16 AM ...I may have about "Speaking in Tongues"? Those of you that do speak in tongues could answer the question of "Do you understand what you are saying when you speak in tongues?" I mean even though it may sound like an Iraq Birthday Party...you do understand what is coming out of your mouth? I'm just curious...is all? And those of you that feel I am burning down bridges...perhaps you could explain why this is so. And those that feel I am trying to convert anyone...perhaps you could elaborate why? For me to get into and explain Praying for those that have died and are in Purgatory...will take a lot of time and space...but then you already know this. Father McNutt if I remember correctly. Was he a Catholic Priest? I believe the book was received favorably by most Christians. I could probably find his book somewhere...should I read it? Post Reply

Posted : 13 Dec, 2010 11:00 PM Archimedes, Lol, guess I gotta agree with you on that one: It would take alot of words to try to explain away why the sacrifice of Jesus doesn't take away all our sins so we have to pay for the rest ourselves by suffering in purgatory. How long would it take to explain how God gives one Christian the "gift" of speaking in tongues -- where that Christian admits that they have no clue about what they are saying....yet....yet....wait for it.....that same "Christian" says that GOD GAVE HIM the "gift" of also being able to UNDERSTAND what he did not before but did understand but did not but did understand but did not... Posted : 14 Dec, 2010 07:17 PM Arch, he does have one on Healing but the one I was thinking of is called "Overcome by the Spirit" the extraordinary phenomenon that is happening to ordinary people. yes, he is a catholic priest and he talks about the works of the holy spirit and how it's moving through the catholic church, he speaks on different priests and their experiences. The first chapter in part one is called : the phenomenon of resting in the spirit. It also talks about the holy spirit and its role in inner healing. anyway, it may help answer any questions you have regarding the holy spirit. Post Reply
