Seeing as how I am of the "upper" generation ~ and am just going to interject something here; whether it is taken at face value ~ or seen merely as words ~ you have to make that decision. Receiving a wink ~ I always respond to a "wink" with a "thank you for the wink". Result? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Why bother, then? If they sent the wink ~ did they actually "read" my profile ~ or is this a way to "gather" and "see" who is actually going to respond? MOST OF THE TIME.... before I CAN respond ~ when I come online to ck messages, here ~ I open the message section to find that the person has been BANNED by ADMIN before I ever have a chance to read it. I cannot begin to tell you how many times that has happened. And, since I will never know "why" ~ well ~ I shrug my shoulders and move on. For me ~ I have met a few from this site. They weren't what they seemed to be ~ some shorter than what their profile stated ~ one thought he was a Prophet sent directly from God and his lifeline was to inform the rest of the entire world what only "he" was privy to... Another didn't even bow his head over food while we ate together ~ forgetting about that, altogether. Another ~ collecting names for his business and gleaning this site to do just that... And, on it goes. One has to be careful the information shared. Women need to take extra precautions regarding sites such as this. I would suspect, Rabbit ~ in direct response to you ~ that you [NEED TO] just give it more time. Be less critical and more gentle. Just a suggestion to you and nothing more. And, don't beat yourself up over it. God will place the right person in your life ~ simply pray on it, and wait...when we leave things at HIS feet ~ we cannot go wrong; HE never makes mistakes.
