What do you men think about "GOING SOLAR"?Posted : 8 Feb, 2026 01:33 PMSolar and wind power in no way can replace the amount of power we currently use nor what we will need in the future. At most it will only be a supplement. There are a variety of reasons for this including the need for 24 hour energy production and not just when the sun is shining or the wind is blowing. We would need a heck of a lot of up sizing in those energy producers plus a huge amount of battery backup to make up for when there's less or no energy production. |

What do you men think about "GOING SOLAR"?Posted : 8 Feb, 2026 04:32 PMBeing less dependent on the grid can take many forms. If you only want to be a little less dependent then that's easy to achieve but if you want to be a lot more independent then it's either going to involve being a lot less comfortable or your going to have to spend a fair amount of money or a combination of both. There are no short cuts. |
